SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETING – the interpreter can formulate the spoken message to the target language while the source language speaker speaks and as quick as he/she speaks it.

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING - the interpreter speaks after the source-language speaker has finished speaking.
