TEACHERS: They are native of the language being taught, holders of a foreign language teaching certification and/or with vast living experience in the country in which the language they teach is spoken.

METHOD: We focus on verbal communication and the basis for our teaching is J. Bruner’s constructivist theory which states that learning is an active process in which learners construct new ideas or concepts based upon their current/past knowledge. The learner selects and transforms information, constructs hypotheses, and makes decisions, relying on a cognitive structure to do so. Cognitive structure (i.e., schema, mental models) provides meaning and organization to experiences and allows the individual to “go beyond the information given”. Bottom line is, we respect your way of learning!

We have the experience and technical knowledge to understand the limitations of each person and to help he/she to overcome such limitations through the development of the 4 abilities for an efficient communication:

1. TO SPEAK with self-confidence;

2. TO LISTEN and understand the language spoken by native speakers and holders of different accents;

3. TO WRITE one’s ideas within a fluent and coherent structure;

4. TO READ and know how to interpret and to build an argument on the subject in hand.
